1) The Ogontz PP45QR-E Valve has been providing the rail industry with reliable freeze protection on hundreds of locomotives for over 14 years. The automatic, snap-acting drain valve is used on closed-engine cooling systems of diesel locomotives and is self-operating, requiring no air or electric.

2) The Ogontz PP45 LA Valve is a modulating freeze protection valve, which is used on compressor and heater lines, which have a tendency to freeze before the main engine drains. This valve is self-contained and fully automatic, requiring no air or electric.

3) The Horsepower Hour Recorder is used to display the horsepower hours accumulated by the main generator of a conventional diesel locomotive. It helps aid routine maintenance scheduling such as load box testing and to monitor engine performance with respect to the main generator output.

4) The Starter Timer is used to record the number of times the locomotive starter is used. The instrument will also record the duration of time the starter is on, in minutes and tenths of minutes. This can increase the reliability while monitoring the use of the starter.

5) An On Board Tester, which provides the ability to test, prior to departure, the ATC system of a locomotive or MU car. The OBT generates command signals to check correct display of aspect indicators.

6) The Ogontz Electronic Fuel Level Gauge is a solid-state unit. It consists of two assemblies: 1) a transducer assembly which threads into the tank drain plug fitting, and 2) an indicator assembly that consists of a 20-segment L.E.D. bar graph display. The bar graph display marks the appropriate level of fuel in the tank. There is also an adjustable flashing low-level set point L.E.D. which gives the operator a visual low fuel level warning. The unit can also be wired to an audible alarm externally via an optional relay.

7) Ogontz manufactures a variety of Auxiliary Heaters for both locomotives and passenger cars. Convection air heaters are low cost units that provide draftless circulation of warm air plus radiant heat to warm cab and vestibule areas. Forced air heaters provide greater heating capacity by passing large volumes of air over higher temperature heating strips. This allows cabs and vestibules to be heated quickly and efficiently.

8) Ogontz also manufactures many styles of Windshield Defrosters. They provide excellent quality and performance at a low cost while effectively removing frost and condensate from the windshield.

9) We presently have several designs of Digital Speedometers, which are designed for new or as replacements for existing equipment. The accuracy and resolution of the digital speedometer far surpass that of the analog type.
