4) The drain pipe heater was designed to supply sufficient heat to prevent ice blockage on the discharge side of the shower drainage system.

5) An air velocity switch that de-energizes the overhead heat contactor unless air at sufficient velocity is passing over the overhead heat surface. It is also used to signal inspectors when the wheel motor systems inoperative.

6) Our liquid-filled or mercury thermostats or assemblies can provide the appropriate heating and air-conditioning control that is necessary. We can meet all of your fresh air, return air, layover and external temperature sensing needs.

7) The accuracy and dependability that these solid state thermostats provide makes them the thermostat of choice in the market today. The design of these thermostats allows them to be easily configured to meet your specifications and requirements. Each thermostat set point is calibrated to within ±1°F accuracy, with 1°F hysteresis.

8) Our floor heaters are designed to provide optimum comfort and minimum maintenance. The design takes into consideration the environment in which they are used. Rugged, yet practical, they resist physical and electrical damage. Since they have no moving parts, the result is long service life with minimal maintenance.

9) Ogontz also manufactures many styles of windshield defrosters. They provide excellent quality and performance at a low cost while effectively removing frost and condensate from the windshield.

10) There are various styles which can be built to satisfy your specifications and needs. All incorporate setting controls, system status and LEDs. The units have controls for override, layover or normal mode sand indicators for overhead heat, floor heat stages, blower operation.

11) Ogontz manufactures a variety of auxiliary heaters for both locomotives and passenger cars. Convector heaters are low cost units that provide draftless circulation of warm air plus radiant heat to warm cab and vestibule areas. Forced air heaters provide greater heating capacity by passing large volumes of air over higher temperature heating strips. This allows cabs and vestibules to be heated quickly and efficiently.
