OPTIMUM USE OF SENSIBLE HEAT The liquid seal provides additional energy savings by allowing you to use
the sensible heat contained in high temperature condensate. By controlling
the condensate discharge temperature, you can control the amount of sensible
heat that can be utilized in the tracer line. Heating with high temperature
condensate can provide additional savings without affecting heat-up rate or
process temperature. |

FREEZE PROTECTED When the steam supply is shut off, the CTV steam trap opens fully, providing freeze protection below the operating set point. |
