CTV CONDENSATE TEMPERATURE CONTROL VALVE the ideal thermostatic steam trap for light loads with minimal live steam loss

Available in ½” NPT with standard temperature control points of 60°, 100°, 120°, 180° or 240°F.

Virtually NO LIVE STEAM LOSS

Live and flash steam losses are effectively eliminated by controlling condensate discharge temperature.

Additionally, a liquid seal minimizes live steam loss, even under extremely light load conditions.

Note: For Saturated Steam Only.

OPTIMUM USE OF SENSIBLE HEAT

The liquid seal provides additional energy savings by allowing you to use the sensible heat contained in high temperature condensate. By controlling the condensate discharge temperature, you can control the amount of sensible heat that can be utilized in the tracer line. Heating with high temperature condensate can provide additional savings without affecting heat-up rate or process temperature.

FREEZE PROTECTED

When the steam supply is shut off, the CTV steam trap opens fully, providing freeze protection below the operating set point.
